Even as kids in the 70s we used to laugh at the fact that he had a normal spine and his arm would rip out if he tried to lift a car.
But we also used to run around the playground and then try to jump in slow motion.

That tunnel is part of the Universal Studios, in Los Angeles. I’m a local who saw it change into different themed things over the year. One ride I remember in that tunnel was the Battlestar Galactica base. Cylons shot steam at us. It was emotionally demanding, but so worth the payoff.

I knew I’ve seen it before… not in person, but some highlights of the studio tour. The Dutch-tilting of the camera really plays it up well.
Loved the opening.
