At Defcon 9 I saw a pickup truck that had three full size cell tower antennae mounted equilaterally on a pole guy-wired into the center of the bed. Basically a homebrew version of the Verizon mobile cell tower, only short enough to go under highway bridges.
You don’t realize how big those antennae are until you see one at ground level!

Criminality as an identity, rather than an act, still plays into the narrative of authoritarianism.
Not that that makes malware any less terrible.
