Stranger Things Dungeons and Dragons is a real thing

Ah, Thieves’ World! That was the best campaign setting I ever bought. I spent a year taking our group through every inch of that place.

The story anthologies on which it was based were pretty good, but the concept came into its own as an RPG setting.

I don’t see Kult in there. Get Kult rpg. It was probably the weirdest horror rpg ever…

By saying you are making the accusation, you are saying you sent Mearls proof and Mearls sent your information to Zak S who then used it to harass you - and I’ll take you at your word and eat crow here. I’m deleting my previous post, and I apologize for challenging your story.

My local RPG group is looking at either Kids on Bikes or Tales from the Loop for an adventure in that specific sort of genre… and the latter is indeed getting its own series.

And cardboard! Cardboard Heroes were pretty handy, and some non-DnD fantasy games like MERP actually shipped with some.

(We also used paperboard chits we made ourselves.)
