Windows 7 will not update. I ran the update troubleshooter and apparently there’s a permissions problem. I tried some moving things around, but then I’m stuck waiting at least 12 hours to know if it worked. I tried doing a manual install, too, but then it takes the same amount of time just to check if the components are already installed.
I’d do a straight upgrade to 10, but I just discovered I need to run some software that’s only supported on 7… and I’m about ready to tear my hair out.
