Okay, I never heard of MGTOW before, so I looked it up.
Basically it’s a group of men who are taking their ball(s) and going home.

This is the part where we throw our heads back and laugh at the grifters who pretend to be business people.
You may laugh, but I’m trying to figure out if I can actually auto-generate POD books or eBooks to sell on Amazon.
What’s “POD” mean?
Print on demand.
Thanks, Mindy.
@OtherMichael - To be serious, whether I laugh (or more likely scoff) would be dependent on whether you dogfood or not. If you find a way to auto-generate stories that truly please you, then that’s awesome. However, if you believe such stories to be drivel or nonsense, then I can’t identify with extracting wealth from others for a product that the owner can’t stand behind.
Enh, to some extent it’s work like any other. I used to know someone who wrote Danielle Steele novels. They didn’t like the novels they were writing, but obviously some people did. I guess it’s easy when doing that to think badly of the people consuming your product. If you don’t do that then you are providing a service as much as a shoemaker who doesn’t like making shoes. If you do do that then you are being kind of an asshole by judging people for their tastes in stories. If you do do that but only as an extension of generalize misanthropy then I’m totally on board.
It isn’t Danielle Steele?
Hmm. I think I think about it a bit differently. I can greatly identify with folks who do practical work to pay the bills, even when their heart isn’t in it. Like shoe repair or janitorial work.
But, for entertainment work, I like for the passion of the creator to be evident and authentic.
Not saying it is wrong to write books that one doesn’t like for a living. Obviously not wrong or bad. Just not a thing that I personally can identify with, or like.
I do like Mike, tho.
You are such a cutie!
might as well mention this. Chagas disease.
Do you know he has that one copy of that Wu Tang album!!! What an asshole!
Any publicity is good publicity.
No, cause that fucker will hoard it. apparently he’s not even going to listen to it. It’s just a way of showing his privilege and rubbing it in our collective faces…
One of the articles on Shkreli in the times was
which glamorizes his arrogance. Perhaps the people who have money to invest in his schemes respect this … appearance of sociopathy.
Wow, “bad boy of pharmaceuticals”? Really? I mean, who gives a fuck if people die, as long as fuckheads like him get to look cool doing it. After all, if poor people wanted to be healthy, they’d be rich, right?
Ugh… Is it too early to drink?
And didn’t Wu Tang sell it to the highest bidder as a way of leveling the playing field?
Did they (oh wait, this isn’t the question thread)? I thought it was some sort of statement about mass production and art… some Walter Benjamin level shit.
In other words, they wanted the album to be a unique item, listened to only by a person of wealth and fame? Pleased to meet you…
