The late 80s/early 90s anime tech aesthetic was top tier
This brings back a lot of nostalgia.
In the future I hope people run 640×480 VHS rips (and maybe 1920x1080 DVD rips) through upscalers like Retrotink 4K with CRT scanline emulation enabled and record the 4K output to digital files for distribution online. We’re at a point where scanlines can be properly represented/captured in 4K recordings.
