I used to live not far from there. It’s a beautiful place, but you have to be well insured and prepared to evacuate fast due to the yearly fires.

I’m always blown away by the cheap real estate in rural California. Is it the wild fires? What else makes 17 acres with infrastructure worth less than a similarly sized bungalow in Sacramento?
$300 grand for a 300 sq ft house ain’t cheap, but it may be cheap for 17 acres.
