It’s so weird to think about Friendster… for a moment it was a big deal in my life. And now it’s completely erased and because of the nature of social media websites, my activity on there isn’t even archived or accessible. I have email archives going back to 2004 (it would have been more if it weren’t for a computer crash at that time). My personal websites starting with geocities are all still there (thanks to the internet archive). But Friendster is like a ghost.
