Little-known fact: two guinea pigs (one of each sex gender) given a head start can feed a Peruvian family of four for a year.

(Sorry. Not sorry.)

And sod the guinea pigs, we did not see nearly enough of the village!

This is a good reminder that guinea pigs need a lot of space to roam around and play. I grew up with too many friends who kept their guinea pig pets confined to small enclosures and, well, I’ve seen houseplants that were more active.

Treat them well and they will more than reward you by just being their truly delightful little selves.

I appreciate the fact, but that would be one of each sex. Guinea pigs don’t have gender.

I have no idea why I typed that because I did fleetingly think as the reply occurred to me that it should be sex. Edited.

`sed -e ‘s/Hobert/Hobart/g’

Just a typo to report. The city in Tasmania is “Hobart”, not “Hobert”.

A lovely place to visit!
