There’s no simple solution, but let’s face it: some people shouldn’t be allowed to have houseplants, let alone animals.
Also I must admit I never saw the appeal of guinea pigs, even though I did think they were cute as the dickens (and much cuter than Charles Dickens), until I learned about “popcorning”. Until then I thought all they ever did was sit in a corner of their cage and occasionally shriek.
Malnourished? Can’t rats eat garbage?

I’m actually great with animals… however, I really should avoid houseplants.

Why are they feeding them kale? Don’t they want them to have a reason to live?
They turn up their noses at pizza and whisky.
