FWIW my first thought was “wonder if it was COVID.” I mean… it’s definitely been killing some people this past year after all. Whatever it was 59 is young and death somehow gets scarier and sadder every year I find.

My mom died at 59 after spending half of her life fighting a rare, debilitating auto-immune disease called scleroderma. She never got to meet her grandson. 59 does not seem like a common or normal age to die to me.
One is not enough for this amazing story. Love it.
