Gamers who tend to be rather antisocial in meatspace and who also don’t pay much attention to their personal hygiene in general tend to be odiferous? Color me shocked.

Um, this tends to be more of an issue with the smash bros community in particular. At big fighting game tournaments, everyone complains about the smash bros section reeking terribly.

Hmm… no.
While the Smash Bros. community may be a particularly bad example of this, I think that it’s a bit more of a widespread problem. I ran into this a fair bit at comic shops when I was younger.
