A couple of those were not in the least creepy, a few were very creepy and some were just no longer appropriate in this day and age.

YMMV.

(I really dislike the way clowns have morphed from figures of fun to creepy characters in the past decade or three.)

The baby-laugh-a-lot was a really creepy ad.
The “sexy baby” ad was disturbing and I’m creeped out by whoever made it

I felt sorry for the three guys in the Maybelline ad. All hoping for that big break and giving it their frozen smile all.

The Knorr advert was so successful here that we tried to make the star the manager of the England football team. Unfortunately we got Graham Taylor instead.

I feel like baby laugh a-lot is a perfectly reasonable ad for a product that seems creepy. For the others, yeah, one or two had slightly uncanny effects but otherwise they seemed fine…except for Love’s Baby Soft, which was 100% “what the hell is this, how was that ever ok”. :grimacing:
