Aside from whether they owed him that or not… why would he assume the fire department would know how to unlock a truck? Does he think they carry around lockpicks? Usually if they need to open a vehicle they are a little more direct than that.

That would’ve been a really sweet outcome of his call, assuming the most recent post was his general every day attitude even back then.
