To my fellow Texans: These people will never fix our power grid. They would literally rather end democracy than do so.

We discuss leaving weekly, sometimes daily, but people really underestimate the difficulty of leaving everything and everyone behind, starting a new life, finding a new home, learning new laws, new tax codes, finding new jobs, etc. Coping with a major life change like that is hard even for the privileged.
And for what? Within the country we’d likely face many similar problems. Outside of the country there’s the difficulty of, you know, being an immigrant.
