It’s still “there”, it has an editor, etc., but they just switched to a new layout that makes it look basically just like a sub-page of Gizmodo, and it carries a lot of wider Gizmodo content. So, yeah, kinda sorta doesn’t exist anymore while still existing technically.
This happened like last week, I think? Before it still looked like Io9. There is a kerfuffle about it at the moment on some twitterfacewhatever social media stuff. They claim to be taking reader’s opinions into consideration.
