I think they mean in what is offered from other vendors… and in my poking about the clear switches at least for the big name brands isn’t an option.
Clears are a known thing in the world of Mechanical Keyboards- but they’re often a meaningful up-charge to get.
They’re (nearly) my favorites, so that seems about right.
I’m still using the wired version with the old function keys (dashboard!). The wired keyboard my new iMac came with is still wrapped in foil.
Wake me up for the Hall-effect switches!
I’ve got a Das Keyboard with Browns at home. The actuation force is great but I have a bad habit of bottoming out so it often sounds like I’m trying to make a statement with my typing. On the other hand, my wife got this pseudo-knockoff keyboard that purports to have “blue” switches and it sounds bonkers.
