In a similar vein, above your ceiling/under your floor, you could have a length of pipe matching the rest of your plumbing, that had ends that went into the ceiling or wall, but that was wasn’t actually connected to the plumbing…

The most valuable things I have are able to both hide and defend themselves quite nicely, because declawing cats is a cruel practice.
Everything else? I have insurance for it, although there are a few things that have sentimental value that would be impossible to replace.
