Oh you dont remember sitting around the campfire, telling stories about Chupa Chups candy? There was the one about little Timmy who bit one and broke a tooth, and Maggie who had a wrapper stuck to her shoe all day? And your parents would try to get you to go to sleep and you’d plead “aw c’mon paw, just one more Chupa Chups story” and he’d always let you stay up just a little longer and you’d lay there watching fireflies and listening to tales about Salvador Dali’s consultancy work?
No?
I mean everything IS a remix, but it still feels weird to lean so heavily on that term when describing a pretty straightforward rebranding. It would be like an article about the current Wal Mart logo being like “The Wal Mart logo you think you know from the front of the store is actually a remix of a remix!” instead of, like “The logo has changed a couple times, as happens.”
The only actually notable aspect is that one of the rebranders was world-famous fascist and abuser of women (and also sometimes artist) Salvador Dali.
