I would find each one of these advancements would be much more exciting if I wasn’t so sure they would be weaponized by the health care industry and dangled in front of those who could never afford it without single payer.

I see anal thermometers in the pic. I know anal thermometers and other anal probes have changed my life. 
Exactly, it’s like the trump admin gloating about his new ‘right to try’ new medications for chronic and terminal illness. What what about the cost? Who can afford these revolutionary medications? It means nothing if you can’t even get basic health care.
