Note: the original Broadway production was probably better than this TV version. On the other hand, it only had 129 performances on Broadway, so maybe not that much better.

There’s a musical version of “Dandelion Wine” written by Ray Bradbury with music by Jimmy Webb that never made it to Broadway. That might be worth taking a look at too.
