I’m a city boy, and have a permanently broken back, collarbone, and a few random fractures including my skull. I’m still walking, numbnuts. 
ETA: Apparently, it’s more difficult to stare down an attacking pickup truck than it is to stare down a bear.
ETA ETA: Of course, you’d think someone who has so many bad encounters with wildlife might learn something from that.
I hope so. It’d certainly be better for the gene pool if he is.
