TIG didn’t work in the UK where third parties can be successful. Why would anyone think it would work in the US?
It seems like they gave up on trying to change both parties from within. However, the existing political machines - as well as feelings of loyalty and familiarity in voters - aren’t easily challenged or replaced. Their shift in focus from national contests to the state and local levels might help prevent the GOP from placing more election deniers in critical positions, though.

Not what they meant, but teaching children about what other folks believe is a good way to break down faith/race-specific intolerances early on.
