Same goes for the extent of executive privilege (at least when a Republican is in office). Once these cases are decided in the SCOTUS we’ll know whether or not we have an independent judiciary anymore.

If by “effective” you mean have a chance of winning, wrong. There has never been a guerilla war that won. Guerillas are useful only in conjunction with a regular army that has the firepower. Guerillas can drain an enemy, sap his morale, confuse him, but they can’t win by themselves. Even in Vietnam, the guerillas didn’t “win”. The war didn’t end until the regular army of the north invaded at full strength.
Why do these anti-abortion pukes get in such a lather about protecting “unborn life” when at the same time they demonstrate they don’t give a rat’s ass about life that is already here? They don’t care if their laws cause women to die in childbirth. They don’t care if they ruin womens’ lives by forcing them to have babies they can’t afford to raise. They don’t care if those babies’ lives are ruined once they’re born.
