The Gallery of Trump-Inspired Assholes (Part 1)

Aww, he has the sads that he is being held responsible for his shitty positions and lack of qualifications. What a pity. :upside_down_face:

I loathe this guy more and more with each passing day.

Gaetz is a typical GOP vandal, but in terms of truly dangerous Republican politicians the one I’m keeping an eye on is Josh Hawley. That guy is bad news, and is playing a long game in terms of becoming white supremacist America’s favourite right-wing populist Republican after Biff is out of office.

Hmm. I could be wrong but this looks a lot like yet another alt-right masquerade as a black woman.

Except that I couldn’t find any mention at Vice, this is the author’s one and only post at Medium, and the tone of the post is way off.

Alt-Right TPUSA being trolled by the Alt-Even-Righter?

No idea where to put this. It’s a thoughtful take on where we are and where we’re going with the Supreme Court, thanks to the powers (cough - Mitch - cough) that ultimately put Kavanaugh on the bench, from a 19-year veteran of Supreme Court reporting.

Final paragraph:

I haven’t been inside the Supreme Court since Brett Kavanaugh was confirmed. I’ve been waiting, chiefly in the hope that at some point I would get over it, as I am meant to do for the good of the courts, and the team, and the ineffable someday fifth vote which may occasionally come in exchange for enough bonhomie and good grace. There isn’t a lot of power in my failing to show up to do my job, but there is a teaspoon of power in refusing to normalize that which was simply wrong, and which continues to be wrong. I don’t judge other reporters for continuing to go, and I understand the ways in which justices, judges, law professors, and clerks must operate in a world where this case is closed. Sometimes I tell myself that my new beat is justice, as opposed to the Supreme Court. And my new beat now seems to make it impossible to cover the old one.

Here is as good a place as any to put it. It’s a strong piece that expresses the feeling of malaise surrounding this whole rotten regime.

Hmmm
some Silly String and an open flame might do the trick.

Not that I’d actually attempt that trick.

Oh dear. I live in the springfield district.

Rest assured, I will be voting for her opponents. I will note that the fairfax county school board election doesn’t have helpful Ds and Rs attatched.

Sample Ballots can be so very useful.

Parnas picked the name “Fraud Guarantee” in part to “clean up his Google search results, ensuring that the word ‘fraud’ and his own name would be paired in a positive light,” The [Wall Street] Journal reported. He allegedly hatched the plan after running a penny-stock company called Edgetech International, which distributed a pre-iPhone mobile device called the Edge. The company soon ran out of money, and Parnas was sued for allegedly stealing hundreds of thousands from investors. Numerous online comments flooded the Internet with posts describing the company as a fraud.

He just wants to be on the wrong side of everything, doesn’t he? This should cost him votes in western Pennsylvania, as the victims were local. But then I think of the Onion’s article, with GOP members looking on as Trump strangles their family, and sigh.

The tweet is from 2012, so it already cost him those votes, or not

https://www.reddit.com/r/VoteBlue/comments/dps0uh/watch_republicans_in_the_nc_senate_keep_canceling/

WATCH: Republicans in the NC Senate keep canceling the budget vote because all the Dems keep showing up and they’re trying to catch us off-guard. When I tell them to call a vote, a senator tells me, “We’ll call [a vote] at the right time. I hope you’ll miss it.” Then they all erupt into laughter.

They’re the party of lawlessness and corruption, just straight-up operating out in the open like it’s no big deal. Everyday normal business as usual at the state capitol.

There are no good Republicans anymore.
