The Gallery of Trump-Inspired Assholes (Part 1)

A “scholar” who barks on command from his Koch Bro master. Described as a “reform conservative”. Okay…

Why, yes, of course. The High Priests of the Cult of Mammon deserve their fair share of worship.
It’s just the natural order of things, after all.
And basking in the divine glow of your betters is even more nourishing than mundane food and drink.

We know this is happening, and that it will pop up somewhere. The only ones who are ignorant to this seem to be the ones who are enabling it. And yes, that is painting them in their best possible light, because if they are not ignorant then they are actual Nazis. That is not better.

This confuses my greatly. LGBT = white now? Anti-LGBT bigots = “oppressed minority?” WTF kind of bizzaro dimension are these people living in? Or is this “in the UK, religious fundamentalist bigots trend to POC?” I guess I could see that…

Those who oppose the LGBT lessons appear to be south Asian muslims.

It took me way too long to realize that Birmingham isn’t in Alabama.

I occasionally spell libertarian as libert-aryan, but the joke’s on me: Working as designed.

At a 1976 libertarian conference funded by oil executive Charles Koch, conservative think-tanker Leonard Liggio presented a paper on the Nazis’ success at recruiting youth to their movement. Liggio urged the clandestine group of wealthy libertarians to embrace the Nazis’ approach as a way to strengthen their own movement to slash taxes and gut regulations.

Now, decades later, multiple young men who have been affiliated with Koch’s powerful political network have been exposed as members of a white nationalist group.

No sign that Leonard Liggio was ever slapped down for that with a “Are you fucking nuts?” reaction.

Duke historian Nancy MacLean contends that his philosophy is so stark that even young libertarian acolytes are only introduced to it after they have accepted the relatively sunny perspective of Ayn Rand. (Yes, you read that correctly).

After expressing support for Donald Trump in 2016, Dilbert creator Scott Adams estimates that he lost about 30 percent of his income and 75 percent of his friends.

And yet, he persisted.

Imagine the cognitive dissonance to be for Trump and online civility. How does his head not explode?

Hunter’s wife previously pleaded guilty in the campaign finance scheme, admitting that the couple used campaign funds for a wide variety of family expenses, including flying their pet rabbit around. Hunter also used campaign money to fund extramarital affairs, according to federal prosecutors. Hunter was one of President Donald Trump’s earliest supporters

Last week, he was only kidding. Haha, only serious. I can’t see the Fox watching Boomers who endured the cold war putting up with this.

The Koch Bro publicly positions himself as a Never Trumper, especially split on the immigration issue. Except that behind the scenes, he created a PAC to launder money to Republican causes from “Never Trump” oligarchs, and if the “invading caravans” message (and white genocide dog whistle) gets votes, no problem!

And his i360 does everything that Cambridge Analytica did.

The problem is, if they’ve been watching Fox all this time, then they’re not living in reality.

I’m a Boomer who makes a point of regularly referencing the Cold War and how as a country we used to know not to trust Russia, and most of the time all I get blank stares.
