The Gallery of Trump-Inspired Assholes (Part 1)

As a historian, can you explain why she replicated the upside-down B from the phrase (as it existed over the gate to Auschwitz) in referencing “JB”, Governor Pritzker?

I mean, she’d have to think that there was a pro-Nazi reason for it, right? When in fact it was a subtle protest by the ‘workers’ forced to create the sign.

Maybe she thinks that’s how Nazis wrote the letter?

FFS, this is nonsensical even for bigots. The Covid-19 virus didn’t even exist when Obama was in office.

Yet some bigoted idiots will still find a way to blame him anyway, even as they insist that their rabid hatred of him somehow doesn’t stem from racism.

Could be? I doubt holocaust studies is her strong suit, frankly. She just wants others to die for her right to a haircut…

That’s my take on it too; these morons are trying to be as inflammatory as possible in order to deflect from their incredibly petty selfishness.

It’s not surprising that their bigotry and disregard for the lives of others exudes from damn near every move they make.

Some of it could be calculated, though. The antisemitism and violent racism being messaged by these groups is a way that they can target individuals with violent threats while also giving them deniability. While I wouldn’t credit the cretins actually doing the “protesting” with that kind of strategic thinking, the monied groups behind them have a history of doing exactly that.

Sure, I’d buy that. She could be a paid plant, too or she could be a holocaust denier as well. Whatever her reasoning or motivation, it’s pretty horrifying that such things are being deployed. I wish I could say it’s shocking, but we know it’s not, given how the “protests” emerged not long after the media began to discuss the impact of the pandemic on communities of color.

Perhaps the (open) neo-nazis will join them to really put MeWe’s free expression policy to the test?

Given that most USians know that particular phrase in German only in reference to Auschwitz, I would say she knows exactly what she’s doing. Otherwise, why the German?

She’s using a phrase specifically tied to a death camp in a way that’s phrased as a reminder to a Jewish decendant of Holocaust survivors. If she had actual Jewish friends and cared at all about them, she’d be horrified when it was pointed out (if she didn’t know) rather than doubling down and pulling out the “friends” card.

These protests were never about anything other than white supremacy.

A weird intersection of Robert Mercer and Falun Gong (Epoch Times).

A spoonful of pro-Trump sugar makes the anti-China message go down.

I was wondering when Steve Bannon’s name would surface again.

There is something seriously messed up in the heads of those people mentioned in that piece.

I think Bannon is automatically summoned by any large concentration of money and bullshit.

My general sense whenever I hear about these high level appointments is: if ‘even I’ could do the job better, they are in no way qualified for the job.
