The Gallery of Trump-Inspired Assholes (Part 1)

I was going down the Koch Bro State Policy Network, making sure that each member organization had its EIN info and at least one news story mention.

Last week the Alaska Policy Forum, alongside the Freedom Foundation of Minnesota, the Maine Policy Institute, and the Oklahoma Council for Public Affairs, formed the Protect My Ballot coalition to oppose ranked-choice voting.

They’re all State Policy Network franchises. “Protect Our Gerrymandering” is what they really mean.

Don’t forget the red stapler!

Yep, I’m in Maine and the republicans and these assholes have been fighting tooth and nail to take it away, even though we voted for it 3 times and the previous governor delayed it as long as possible. Now there seems to be some kind of concerted “letter to the editor” effort underway. Just last week there were at least 2 such letters published over 2 days. Each one claimed that old and uneducated people suffer, because they don’t understand the concept and so don’t get the full benefit. I took offense on behalf of elderly and uneducated people everywhere. 1st choice, 2nd choice, 3rd choice is not a tough concept.

Eh, all that stuff about “right to peaceably assemble” and “petition for redress of grievances” is just liberal commie talking points. Wake up sheeple! (Oh god /s! I need a shower)

Eh, I won’t kink-shame, but the hypocrisy is mind-blowing.

This may be one of the more positive things I’ve read about Falwell.

Agree. But as their hypocrisy harmed many others - outing is completely justified.

“ Becki Falwell, 53, is a political figure in her own right. She served on the advisory board of the group Women for Trump, which advocates for the president’s reelection campaign. She also spoke as part of a panel with her husband and Donald Trump Jr at last year’s Conservative Political Action Conference, or CPAC, the signature annual gathering of conservatives.”

Headlines like this piss me off:

It wasn’t “his wife’s affair”, it was their affair even if no balls were touching.

“It was all her fault!” What an ass.
“There were important smaller things I needed to do better too.” :face_vomiting:

Also, unrelated to Falwell but certainly related to Trump: buried in this story about the New York investigation into the Trump crime syndicate:

The filing said that Eric Trump had been scheduled to be interviewed in the investigation in late July, but abruptly canceled that interview. The filing says that Eric Trump is now refusing to be interviewed, with Eric Trump’s lawyers saying, “We cannot allow the requested interview to go forward … pursuant to those rights afforded to every individual under the Constitution.”

This sure sounds to me like Eric’s taking the Fifth.

I wonder if Cohen will talk about this in his book which is out in 2 weeks?

And Falwell basically threw his wife under the bus saying that it was an affair on her part…

Yep, in his description, he didn’t know until later and claims he was “hurt” by this “affair”. Lying asshole.

Also… that picture that recently circulated from that yacht party with Falwell and the young woman… look at how he’s holding on to her side… These two have had an open relationship for years and they’re trying to cover that up.
