The '70s were more of a Great American Nightmare Machine. The only thing the decade had going for it were some decent music and movies.

Shows like this always give me deja vu vibes, like I probably saw them at some point but I was so young only brief parts of it saved in my memory, images or bits of music. “Kukla, Fran and Ollie” for example is way before my time, but I must have seen it on reruns back then because it feels familiar.

My 14 year old self did not watch this kind of stuff. Plus WGBH didn’t carry it.
