Am I the only one here who refuses to use optimisation strategies? It feels almost like cheating to me; like it doesn’t really test my vocabulary and problem solving skills if I follow a pattern.
I always use whichever five letter word comes to me first as a starting point and from there on only go by the clues and so far *knocks on wood* I’ve been able to solve every one anyway.
I never look for help but after I solve it I check how many words have the letters that stump me.
In this case I got lucky.
Wordle 232 4/6
I try to optimize for vowel elimination in my first two guesses, but I’m not organized about it. I like thinking up and starting from a different pair each time.
How about RUNTS?
I don’t see it as cheating, since one of the goals is to solve in as few attempts as possible. But choosing a different word as a starter certainly ups the difficulty!
I got a question kind of wordley…
How does the pasting of results work? It’s not an image, it seems to be some sort of simple code when I paste into a text editor. It’s the following but enclosed in colons. It works on Facebook and this forum, but not on all forums. It also raises the question, what other shapes or symbols can be posted using similar code?
green_square
It’s just an emoji.

Codepoints: 1F7E9
Introduced: February, 2019 in Unicode version 12.0.0 (Emoji version 12.0)
For some reason my google search skills drew a blank, now I know what to search for.
Thank You
Oops, failure.

After you solve the puzzle, a statistics sheet pops up.
Clicking the SHARE button copies your game to the clipboard, without the actual words. Then you can paste the image anywhere.

Turns out, assistive technology doesn’t do well with the Wordle result image:
At least there is a visual impairment setting so you can change to more higher contrast colors. It doesn’t help with the text-to-speech aps though

I had started with the colors in high-contrast mode (as shown above) and didn’t realize that my first guess had two correct letters. Grrr.
