The gruesome reality of the drug trade

It’s unfortunate that this is how it must be around the world. If only there were a billion nuances to this kind of policy making. I see why you admire a (well paid) shill like Levitt. I suppose getting crushed or burned to death while making a shirt for walmart is no picnic either…

Calling “Godwin” is what will lead to the next holocaust-like event. Nazi Germany was not a singular aberration that cannot and will not ever be repeated. There are things that human beings do that are similar in important ways.

Shoot, if you’re talking about Genocide then it’s already happened several times since the end of WWII. Not quite as methodically as the Nazis, but why bother with gas chambers and ovens when you have machetes and longstanding tribal bullshit to play off of?

Hi. you must be new to the internet if you think nobody fights over politics or takes things personally anymore.

the only thing that actually changed is the replacement of the local pub with your moms basement,a nd fisticuffs with shenanigans.

mainly because the TVs are too loud at the local pub, and the fights are about hockey or football.

You kidding? We coudn’t even possibly read all the nonsense coming out of Congress every week these days. Trolls, clickbait, and anonymous contact are no substitute for direct human contact. It’s a phenom, sure - but they won’t compare directly.

I’m not saying you don’t care about any of it. I’m saying the level of ability to get at the basic news of events itself without shading or slant is much harder, though the ability to simply bypass all of it as if it didn’t matter is much, much easier. When the paper gives the actual minutes, and anything else is distinctly editorial - they actually did report, and you actually did get to decide. (Compare television viewer and site traffic stats for all outlets to congress.org, and you can see it for yourself.)
