Gremlins 2 is one of my favorite films. Right up there with Beetle Juice and The Color Purple (yes, an odd comparison but it’s good for totally different reason lol).

Taken together with “Back to the Future, Part II”, it seems that 1980s comedy/science fiction filmmakers were anticipating the logical endpoint of Reaganism long before the rest of us.
