The Man With No Name, my role model for life

[Read the post]

I donā€™t think Iā€™ve seen all the ā€œMan With No Nameā€ movies. For my money, nothing can beat High Plains Drifter. The allegory is beautiful. Not only do you have the bad guys getting theirs, you have the townspeople getting theirs for having behaved so cowardly. The vaguely supernatural bent is fun, too. Even for an atheist/skeptic like me.

At first I thought this said your role model was The Horse With No Name. I was prepared for a much more surreal article.

Or the even yet more odd ā€œA Man Called Horseā€¦ with No Nameā€

Not even a single paltry mention of the true source: Yojimbo by Akira Kurosawa starring the legendary Toshiro Mifune?

or Red Harvest by Dashiell Hammett?

I was confused by the headline for a second there:

You know they also call him the Velour Fog.
