Thanks; I wasn’t hip to that slang either, and I didn’t care enough to actually go look it up.
Now that I know, I won’t be using it; IMO, it sounds and looks ignorant as fuck… and I say that as a Black person who generally strives to show competent literacy when I engage others online.
But then again, I’m also not on Twitter…

When I lived in Calgary i met a whole lotta people that were against multiculturalism. Heck they were against French language education.

Lived in Alberta most of my life. Moved to SK. From what I saw, most of the xenophobia was spewed by 40somethings and their .mentally deteriorating parents.

Most of the US is perfectly fine with some aspects of socialism (public k-12 school system, Medicare). Any further extension of existing socialist programs in place and then suddenly things are taken way too far.
Sometimes I just want to pack up and move elsewhere.
