This is technically a parody of the famous “View of the world from 9th Avenue” cover from 1976, but yes, it is hardly bleaker than real stuff from the New Yorker lately.

The original is a masterpiece, from an amazing artist. It’s been ripped off so many times that it’s good to see what it really looked like.
