There definitely is something similar between the sovereign citizen mindset and the qanons but it is hard to really pinpoint. It seems like both are engaged in trying to make their fantasies of the world come true in some way. Both groups seem convinced that if they just believe that the world works they way they wish it did hard enough then everybody else will become convinced too and then they will all be treated like geniuses or something.
