I don’t know if they changed it at the time, but in the mid-late 2000’s in rural NC there was at least one pizza place I went to with “freedom fries” on the menu. I haven’t been there since but I wouldn’t be surprised if they never changed (assuming they’re still open.)

Isn’t it insane that the news of an 86 year old announcing retirement in a year is causing such a political kerfuffle? We face a lot of workforce issues and failures to pipeline qualified younger people into leadership roles in my field, but this story makes me feel like we’re actually doing okay (in my field) in comparison.
