One of the most haunting things (for me) that should belong in this supercut is the scenes of the buildings crumbling into the sea in Inception. But it’s not a post-apocalyptic movie, so I guess it doesn’t count.

I have to admit, I’ve been thinking about “The Road” an awful lot lately.
“Once there were brook trout in the streams in the mountains. You could
see them standing in the amber current where the white edges of their
fins wimpled softly in the flow. They smelled of moss in your hand.
