If I win the powerball on Saturday this is the first thing I am buying. That house is freaking adorable (it needs some work though).
My BF sent me this:
Haunted “The Conjuring” House Built in 1836 Lists For $1.2 Mil! See Inside!
and while there are fewer images, there are some that redfin lacks, including shots of the charming outbuildings.
Holding up a structure with a pair of planks is always elegant.
That plaque near the door seems to read 1736, not 1836.
All that red-painted wood is horrid. Even though I’m not a fan of most pine, I think painting woodwork is criminal, esp old wood, but also new wood that isn’t crap. (Disclaimer: We’re in a Victorian historic neighborhood.)
Seems to me, most folks who are selling a home will take care of peeling paint and other obvious moisture damage
esp when yr asking a million two.
I’d tear it down and sell all that old knotty pine to restoration experts.
