I saw this when I visited Croatia. It’s also possible to “play” it by taking a boat close by and letting the wake make the music.

there is a place in southern oregon overlooking a valley where someone has setup a series of pipes that catch the wind as it moves over the crest of the hill… don’t want to out the place because it’s so peaceful and it would be a shame to see it over run.

who ever did it really knew what they were doing because it’s not even obvious it’s there till the wind starts in, and the hill starts singing ( softly )
