I remember that day well. Me and my fellow socialist’s were sipping commie coffee at the Left-Wing Checkpoint, Internal Division, and we were socially thinking, “I hope we get us a Flapjack this morning”. Ah, good times. Thanks for the memories.

My guess is illegal immigration is a factor, and they want to keep better tabs on it. There’s so many poles where I live (many undocumented, according to Polish friends) that they are competing with hispanic immigrants for low-end jobs in rich suburbs. Where I used to work and live had garbage stickers, maintenance signs, etc. all printed in English, Spanish and Polish.
