This seems to me to be a very close fit to my neighbor, really close fit.
I’m trying to remember another novel that made good use of this narrative style…It’ll come to me.
The Utterly Uninteresting and Unadventurous Tales of Fred, The Vampire Accountant
I totally clicked on that headline expecting it to be a feature from the latest “Tom the Dancing Bug: Super-Fun-Pak Comix.” The ball is in your court, @RubenBolling .
Funny; I did exactly the same thing with this one:
I’m stockpiling ebooks for my vacation this summer. I adore my in-laws, but 40% of the time will be 14 people taking forever to get ready to go somewhere en masse, and 40% will be spent playing complicated board games that I will bow out of most of. I’m gonna need a few dozen backup books.
This might be a good choice for you. I really liked it
Try explaining to people why you are reading about a vampire accountant. Great series, more humorous fantasy than horror.
