My girlfriend was born in London, but grew up in North Wales, after her folks bought a hotel near Barmouth.
She learned Welsh to O-Level standard and still speaks it.
She’s been trying to teach me, but my ability to remember words in English is bad enough, trying to remember anything in another language is doomed from the get-go.
I can just about manage ‘good morning’ and ‘good night’ in Welsh. :confused:
