I saw The Wrecking Crew at the Mill Valley Film Festival a few years ago, and yes, you absolutely want to see it if you get a chance; amazing how much of the iconic music of the 60s and 70s has them doing the studio work.

Big fan of the wrecking crew. Check out the two albums Les Baxter did in collaboration with Plas Johnson: African Jazz and Jungle Jazz. Absolutely superb.

This reminds me of the Funk Brothers documentary, [Standing in the Shadows of Motown][1]
Some of the best music ever recorded…
