And in France it was a bakery. The human & Sprocket segments were the only parts shot for international markets like this. All the action in the caves and the Land of the Gorgs was shot in Toronto along with the original Doc & Sprocket segments featuring Gerry Parks as Doc.

The caves inspired by Michael’s childhood memories were re-created as a huge collection of sculpted styrofoam arches, rocks, stalagmites & stalagtites that could be moved around and re-dressed as needed to make any section of the Fraggle world possible - and accessible to the movements of puppeteers. Really cool stuff.
