Reagan was the first president to be referred to as Teflon (although mobster John Gotti was called “The Teflon Don” before that). It has since been applied to Clinton, Obama and Trump.

Which president was (and could be) labeled "Teflon"
3 comments constitutes an “endless argument, now?”
Hmm, maybe not, though I thought I remembered it being discussed here before.
I was more interested in getting those off topic posts out of that thread. Rhe thread is about Tromp’s blunt appeal to racists, not wheter he’s wearing Teflon. They don’t seem to merit flatout deletion, nor their own thread, which is why I put them here.
If you have a better idea, do tell!
Maybe the argument is about comments posted not in bad faith, but that seem to downplay or derail the main topic.
Yeah. I wonder if there’s a general derailment thread.
I think there was; though I don’t remember what it was called…
I tried to find it just now. Lots of threads having to do with trains.
Shocker…
Is this an argument about what constitutes an argument?
Discussions where all folks remain calm and civil, expressing mere curiosity (not judgment) do not equate to ‘arguments,’ IMO.
Certainly not “endless” ones.
I am hoping “protesters: are they doing everything exactly right or are they the real problem” does not need to be added, but a recent thread does not make me hopeful. Especially since now that I say so, I realize the same thing with “the left” could have been on here a long time ago.
I have that shirt…
I do not have this one but really want it…
I also have that shirt!
Three people have laughed at it.
One person argued “That’s not R2D2!” possibly not reading the rest of the shirt and thus missing the joke.
