Reagan was the first president to be referred to as Teflon (although mobster John Gotti was called “The Teflon Don” before that). It has since been applied to Clinton, Obama and Trump.

Hmm, maybe not, though I thought I remembered it being discussed here before.
I was more interested in getting those off topic posts out of that thread. Rhe thread is about Tromp’s blunt appeal to racists, not wheter he’s wearing Teflon.They don’t seem to merit flatout deletion, nor their own thread, which is why I put them here.
If you have a better idea, do tell!

Discussions where all folks remain calm and civil, expressing mere curiosity (not judgment) do not equate to ‘arguments,’ IMO.

I am hoping “protesters: are they doing everything exactly right or are they the real problem” does not need to be added, but a recent thread does not make me hopeful. Especially since now that I say so, I realize the same thing with “the left” could have been on here a long time ago.
