Also, it’s kind of weird that the same group that spawns “Don’t teach evolution in science class without teaching creation as well!” also spawns people so willing to misapply what they perceive to be Darwinian Law to social situations.

Loved this but you can definitely tell its age by the expectant father smoking like a chimney in the maternity ward!
Of course, all that publicly-provided stuff like vaccinations and whatnot means that the rugged self-sufficient Americans of 70 years ago weren’t all that self-sufficient after all.
As is so often the case, they want to return America to a condition it didn’t have to begin with.
