I’ve tried a couple of the ‘cooling’ pillows, including an aftermarket cover that supposedly had the same benefits. Newsflash: when you’re lying on fabric and stuffing, no amount of microscopic channels will let airflow cool you any better; it’s still going to be warm after a while. All the ones I bought, I bounced because they never worked as well as advertised. The only thing I can think of that might work is a thin mesh cover over something like a ‘bamboo wife’, used as a pillow.
