It’s like yoga but you can hurt yourself more easily. But aside from that I like lifting weights because it’s a challenge. Like running your aim is to keep up with the exercise (form) while going further (weight). It doesn’t have the runner’s high which is a down side but you get to eat a truck ton more and turn some of it into useful muscle. For me, it’s helped minimize my back pain thanks to the deadlifts (form is always key here). That alone makes it worth the monotony of some of the routines I use.
