As anyone who’s had to take care of a hyper toddler can relate…

Thanks, Seamus!

That rhino momma is looking very Albrecht Dürer, isn’t she.

Got to be pretty thick skinned to not play with your kid.

Really sorry to hear that. I was impressed. I LIKE slow burn horror and considering that this was a two person tour de force and that one of them was a child, well…

For weeks, I’d heard rave reviews about it; but then when I finally watched it…

It was just… ugh.

And that ending…

I like to take movies as I get them. I was all wrapped up in the Blair Witch thing yet went into it not expecting too much. I was quite happy with it. Did exactly what it set out to do. Then again, I also think that Blair Witch 2 is way better than people think. As to that ending (The Babadook), I ike ambiguity in my horror.

I actually liked both the Blair Witch Project and its’ poorly received sequel.

But I didn’t care for the Babadook at all; not only did I dislike both the main characters immensely, it was just depressing rather than scary, IMO.

If I want to be bummed out, I’ll just watch the nightly news…
